With generous support from the Raymond B. Preston Family Foundation, the 8th Annual iStand Parent Network Inc. International Parents Conference & Embassy Walk harnesses the power of love, advocacy and collective action to empower parents and families of internationally-abducted children and to advance public policy solutions to prevent and end International Parental Child Abduction (IPCA) and bring America’s Stolen Children home.
About Our Theme:
The current social and political climate is rife with division, partisanship and acrimony. Our imperative is to build bridges between families, governments and nations for family reunifications. Our ‘same page’ strategy means that our love, loyalty and labors for America’s Stolen Children must be Undivided--- and this is our conference theme.
Our love and devotion for our children is UNDIVIDED.
Our resolve to reunite with our children is UNDIVIDED.
Our determination to seek justice for children and families is UNDIVIDED.
Our mission to end International Parental Child Abduction is UNDIVIDED.
About the Conference:
The International Parents Conference connects families from across the nation and internationally with other parents, members of Congress, federal agencies and international diplomats, offering critical access to important decision-makers and stakeholders as they fight for their children's return.
For three days, we engage in solution-oriented action on Capitol Hill, at the International Parents Conference and during our march down Embassy Row. iStand helps new parents learn the 'ropes' of impassioned, effective advocacy for their children, and diverse workshops on a range of topics equip each participant to carry the message and the movement forward. For returning attendees, the Conference is an important opportunity to recharge, find new solutions and advance public policy reform. It's not all work, though! In the evenings, we come together again for festive fellowship, food and drinks to cap off action-packed days.
