America's Stolen Children
Every year, more than 1000 American children are abducted from loving parents to foreign nations where it’s a fight to bring them home.
That’s more than 7000 American children abducted by a parent since 2009.
Far too many nations do not comply with the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction to recognize a child's country of habitual residence, and U.S. laws need stronger, consistent enforcement.
Our children deserve both parents, whenever possible, and our laws must be strengthened and enforced to prevent children from being taken, and to bring them home.
Standing for America’s Stolen Children must matter to us all.
